When I looked in the snack/ramen box in the kitchen recently, I noticed that I am down to my last Choco Pie. Suddenly, sadness and longing washed over me because Saturday, the day that I do my grocery shopping, was still days away.
Ah, Choco Pie, why are you so delicious? Is it because of your chocolaty outer covering? Or is it your soft marshmallow filling between two layers of cake-like cookies? I think it is the whole package; the perfect blend of all three ingredients that generate the most wonderful snacking experience.
Ah, Choco Pie, I cannot wait until I can eat you again, which will be soon (but not soon enough). I also cannot wait to share you with my dear colleagues, who are working hard in the summer heat (even though it is not quite summer yet).
I sincerely thank Orion Confectionery, the maker of Choco Pie, for all the wonderful deliciousness given to the world. Choco Pie can now be found in many countries outside of its native home in South Korea. So no matter where one resides, Choco Pie will never be far away.
